Is it possible or will this be possible in the future?Researchers at Fundan University (Shangai) demonstrated that naked nano-emulsions or coated with chitosan can be transported along the nose-to-brain passage reaching the olfactory bulb.
The particle size plays an important role in this and further studies will be undertaken to identify optimal conditions.
